Local charity Himmah loses access to their van meaning thousands of food parcels are going undelivered in Nottingham.
In November 2023 the Nottinghamshire council declared itself bankrupt and at the beginning of last week the council took back the van they provided to local charity Himmah.
Himmah are Nottinghams largest independent food bank and used the van to deliver thousands of food parcels around the city centre. On Friday I delivered food parcels across the city in the Riviera van.
They are urgently appealing for volunteer drivers in the short term to help deliver or donations to help them buy a van.
